Once Tony Rynders, the winemaker at Domaine Serene, has decided that the grapes are ready to go, Joel Myers assembles a crew, who arrive at the crack of dawn to pick the fruit.
The fruit to the right of the tractor is Pommard growing on 5C, and the fruit to the left is 114 on 3309 rootstock. Fruit from this block was used to make a single vineyard futures offering by Domaine Serene in 2003.
